The AEM1R features a stunning 9.66" IPS touch screen at 1920x480 resolution with a super-bright 1000 nit display and automatic brightness adjustment, making it equally legible in direct sunlight or low-light conditions. Unlike clip-over solutions, the AEM1R uses a purpose-built mounting bracket that replaces your factory mirror entirely for a clean, integrated result. A flip switch lets you instantly revert to a conventional mirror view whenever needed, and the integrated clock and date display keeps essential information on screen at all times.

Powered by a Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor, the included AHD 1080P rear camera delivers exceptional image quality day and night. When you select reverse gear, the screen automatically switches to the rear camera view with on-screen parking guidelines to assist with precision manoeuvring. For everyday driving, the live camera feed provides constant rear vision, eliminating the blind spots created by full canopy and camper setups.

The built-in DVR records continuously in 1080P HD at 30 frames per second, with automatic impact-triggered event saving to protect critical footage in the event of an incident. The system supports MicroSD cards up to 256GB (sold separately, Class 10 required), giving you generous on-board storage for extended recording sessions.

Installation is straightforward with the included 8-metre camera cable and universal mirror mount, and the system is compatible with 12V and 24V vehicles.
